Law Project 2.0

A few you may remember my law debacle from last April. If you don't, here's a refresher:
“However, causality was much more sophisticated and complex.”

“Even throughout the hot summer, the city remains to have the “boil the water” advisory.”

“In recent years water pollution has becoming a greater issue to deal with. Especially since businesses are pouring new chemicals which are developed by these industries into the water systems which are unregulated and the effects are unknown to a certain extend”

“Overall the pharmaceutical products have not no short term affects on humans but shown that they small animals.”

Well, it turns out one of the members from that group is in my 4th year design project. You might remember that he's from Windsor. He's simply a lazy writer.

This is what he sent me for our Letter of Intent (to be sent to the Dean of Env. Eng.):
I, XXX, 4th year Environmental Engineering student at the University of Windsor, have great interest in sewage treatment and design. During the past few years of my study, I have acquired many education backgrounds that can be implemented to design a sewer collection system for the Hamlet of Ruthven.

My revision:
XXX is in his fourth year of his undergraduate degree in Environmental Engineering at the University of Windsor. He has a strong interest in sewage treatment and design. During his time as an undergraduate, he has acquired a strong base of knowledge which he is eagerly waiting to apply to this project.

I'll be the first to admit that my writing isn't the greatest thing since chopped bread but I can't wait for what these next six months might entail.

You're working with XXX on your project?? Which one, though? The original (i.e. Vin "I live my life a quarter mile at a time" Diesel)? Or the sequel (i.e. Ice "Friday was the one good movie in my career" Cube)? Man you're so lucky. I bet you get into all sorts of explosions-filled car chase fun at the Hamlet of Ruthven. You got to tell me all about it when you come back for reading week.

One good movie?

More like a million. But seriously, Three Kings and Boyz n the Hood are good movies too.

I can't conceive of anything called "Boyz N The Hood" being good in any way.

How dare you question my faculty? Your malicious gossip, perpetuate it as you will, bears the marking of the flippant, meek and glib. I resent such fastidious concern for syntax and trivial things like 'grammar.' I would appreciate--nay, I command--use of discretion the next time you feel obligated to subsume my proposals. And if you don't I'MA LAY THE SMACK DOWN ON YOUR MACEDONIAN ASS! WHAT'S COOKING?!

Damn you, Vin Diesel. How did you find me?
