Like Spinning Plates

Dirt is boring. I'm not taking exciting courses this semester but Hydrogeology has to be the most painful of them all. First there was Soil Mechanics, then Hydrology, now Hydrogeology. Rocks and aquitards. 100 year storms and piezometers. Dull, uninteresting crapple. 3 straight semesters of this. Bleh...All I can think of is our bodies floating down the muddy river. Except the muddy river is decreasing in depth to a cone of depression being formed by a nearby well that is being overused.

There has to be something more than this, something to combat the ever growing disillusionment and it's not just me. It eats away at us all. A picture may be worth a thousand words but the unspoken word is worth a million more

By the way, true love waits.
