A Romantic Night Out

Valentine's Day. It is what it is which to say isn't much when you're four hours away. The highlight of my day was spending 7 1/2 hours in front of a computer in a computer lab working on assignments. Time flies when talking about groundwater gradients and having the Olympic website refreshing in the background, wondering why a North Korean male figure skater is competing in the Olympics. Pretty sure he finished last.

Celtic Guard Delonte West talking about a romantic dinner on his yacht.

Anything more to say, Delonte?

Delonte: "One more thing: When we're on the yacht eating, we're going to have some Popeyes chicken. That's for dinner. It's to let her know, put a mental image on her mind, first and foremost, if you ain't from the hood, you don't like Popeyes chicken. Everyone there loves Popeyes chicken and the biscuits -- phew. But that's just getting it on her mind, saying, you know, 'Yeah, I can wine and dine you, but I'm a little rough around the edges and I'm keeping it real with you. I can be romantic, but this is real, we're going to eat some chicken tonight. Chicken and biscuits.'"

Popeye's is grand, but Foccaccia was better. Raspberry and chocolate bread pudding for dessert, followed by banana juice. Amazing.

Thanks for the recommendation, it got me some SWEET SWEET ACTION!

I always worry about recommending places, as strongly as I did, out of fear that things won't be nearly as good as when I went.

Glad it went well.

[laertes] NAPLES, Italy (Reuters) - Christmas has never tasted this good. Thirty-two pastry chefs in the southern Italian city of Naples unveiled on Saturday what they say is the biggest ever nativity scene made entirely of chocolate.

Just thought I'd send that your way.
