Fix Up, Look Sharp - Dizzee Rascal

OOOOIII!!
ha ha ha ha ahaha ahahaha
yea!

STTUUUPID!

[CHORUS]
Fix up look sharp
dont make me paint a bitch
something get park
hit the button see the squark
duck down, lay down just (get on down)

I got the big beat
I hear the sound
I got the big beat (Dizzee Rascal!)
I get on down

[VERSE 1]
I've heard the gossip from the street to the slammer,
They're tryin to see if Dizzee stays true to his grammer,
Being a celebrity don't mean shit to me,
Fuck the glitz and glamour, hey im with the Blicks and Gamma
Because they're talking Black Russian,
Talk behind my back but to my face they say nothin',
Stand up in the Parks, keep a firm, steady stance,
Keep the beanies touchin, keep the beanies hot flushin,
Flushin MC's down the loo,
If you dont believe me bring your posse, bring your crew,
Feel free to hate cos i ain't tryin-a be your mate,
Be serious, cos i lost another hour on my shoe,
It's an Air-Force-One,
Trainers by the truck load, trainers by the tonne,
Don't blaze when i catch you by your J's,
Chump, best to act like ferret skunk, best to run!

[CHORUS]

I stay sweet as a nut, sweet like Tropicana,
When i have head, your head splits like banana,
Your not ready for this girl,
You better send your best boys, cos this is Captain Rascal!
More destructive and troublesome than ever,
I'll probably be doing this, probably forever,
Fellas wanna stop me dont probably come together,
Its probable they'll stop me, probably never,
You Topman, Topman, hard toppa toppa,
Come to me, front, that aint true, come a cropper,
I'm old school like Happy Shopper,
I fight old school, bring your bike and your chopper,
And a First Aid Kit, and some antiseptic, this could get hectic,
I'm a done accept it, you got a bright future,
Dont let my shit affect it!

[CHORUS x2]

Fix up!

For All Your Branding Needs

Hollister? What the deuce is with this brand? Everyone on campus is wearing it and honestly, I've never seen it before. Like last year with The Whore's favourite brand, Von Dutch. All these people with too much money and too much for concern for what's in. And the clothes I've seen are simple clothes, nothing extravagent with Hollister branded across their chests.

So I'm taking four courses, 3 Arts and an Engineering, this semester. 13 hours of class. Finished Wednesday at 1:30. It's a nice schedule especially in comparision to the normal workload.

If I've learned anything from the Arts classes at this point, it's that debate is not nearly as much "fun" if people aren't willing to come to an understanding. Two extreme points of view screaming at each other isn't productive and is a total waste of class time. The difference between a Fact, Opinion and Argument (Thank you, Mr. Shearer) are lost on certain people. I'm already tired of being insulted by both sides for stating the facts of a situation when I have no interest in the fight.

Pearl Jam Setlist

Ed solo: Porch

Set list: Release, Go, Animal, Save You, Given To Fly, Corduroy, Love Boat Captain, Small Town, Even Flow, Habit, Daughter, Better Man, 1/2 Full, Black, Do The Evolution, Rearviewmirror

1st encore: You've Got to Hide Your Love Away, Present Tense, Wishlist, Harvest Moon, Indifference, Alive

2nd encore: Blood, Jeremy, Leaving Here, Rockin' in the Free World w/Bono and Sleater Kinney, Yellow Ledbetter

Taking the bus back to Windsor today, I saw the front of the Toronto Sun with a picture of Eddie Vedder on it. Front page? Nice, they probably went "all-out" with a review. At this point I wish someone was there to slap me upside the head and say, "You idiot. You're talking about The Sun. How stupid are you?" Well, there wasn't and I deposited my dollar into the box (I was in London at the time) and got the paper.

3 out of 5 stars.

No mention of Bono coming out for Rockin' in the Free World.

"Pearl Jam in 2005 has little to offer anyone but their, albeit many, diehard fans. The audience knows every word, every nuance and new trick from guitarists Stone Gossard and Mike McCready, delighting in the extended solos and clever combinations of hits, album tracks and covers."

Is this Pearl Jam or the Rolling Stones, who I'm sure the Sun will be all over with a 5-star review? Maybe the reviewer doesn't enjoy Pearl Jam's political leanings or the makepovertyhistory booths littering the ACC. 3 stars? You're shitting me.

Interpol will be in 8 days. So I'm back home in a week. Nice life.

You may recall my Transport Phenomena story from back in May? Well, I ended up with a D-. So I took a re-write of the final in Augist and pulled out a D+. Was it worth all of the studying and the drive down to Windsor to write it? It doesn't really seem like it.

More regular updates coming now that I've got nothing else to do here.
